Universal Law of Attraction - How to Attract Your Ideal Destiny

By Michael Lee
The universal law of attraction is the greatest of the ancient and unchanging basic laws that rule the universe. The universal law of attraction, in simpler terms, is "like attracting like." If ruminate on it constantly, it will come.

All of us are composed of energy. We have within us the same atoms and molecules that comprise the universe. Therefore, we are intertwined, and whatever energy we emit--whether positive or negative--will reel in energy similar to it.

The universal law of attraction falls into place when what starts off as an idea is turned into a dream, and then taken to completion by your actions or the steps you take to achieve it.

Perhaps you are familiar with the power of positive thinking. That is precisely what this is. It is all in the mind, as the famous proverb goes.

As potent and effective as owning this kind of mindset is, the same thing is true for the opposite. If you concentrate so much on the negative and constantly worry about even the littlest things, then the negative consequences will be birthed into reality.

Whereas, if you lived life in a sustained state of optimism and affirmation, then you are sending out positive vibes to the rest of humanity. The world will then pick up on those vibrations, and they will react in kind.

In Paulo Coelho's acclaimed book, The Alchemist, the weathered king tells the shepherd boy, "When you want something, all the universe conspires to help you achieve it." This is the true meat of the universal law of attraction. It's not a function of "if" you will get what you wish for. Rather, it is "when" your most coveted desires will come to you.

As said by the universal law of attraction, you have the capability to make things happen merely by ruminating on it. It just might be cliché to you, but anything can become reality if you concentrate on it. If you can keep it in your thoughts, you can be able to get it, do whatever you wish, or become whoever you desire to be.

Leave no room for fear and negativity, or these damaging emotions will rule over your life and tag along like a storm cloud. Do not doubt for a moment that your dreams will come to pass. If you are wholly and utterly convinced that they will come true, then trust that it will really happen.

But don't merely rest on your laurels absorbing everything that comes your way. Take command and draw to yourself all the success and prosperity the universe has created for you. Though you may not know it yet, you are in total control of your life.

But how do you exactly think your way to success? Keep your eyes on your goal, believe it is within reach, and visualize your achievement of it. Experience it in your mind--the feel of it in your fingers, having it so close you can actually smell it, and the euphoria of knowing it is already yours. Give yourself these positive experiences and you will attract similarly positive outcomes.

In film, the difference between drama and melodrama is that, with the latter, their environment influences the characters. With drama, on the other hand, the characters themselves take hold of their own circumstances. Just like in the universal law of attraction, you create your own reality; just as in a movie, you create your own happy ending.

How Credit Scores are Calculated

By Loubelle Bernaldo
When you apply for a loan or credit card, the lender's approval will largely depend on your credit score. While your income, job security and assets indicate your ability to repay the loan, your credit score is an indicator of your attitude and reliability about repaying debt. The higher your credit score, the more likely you are to be approved for your loan.

So, how are these credit scores calculated?

There are three major credit bureaus, also known as Credit Reporting Agencies (CRA's), those being Experian, Equifax and Trans Union.

These three companies receive information from most of your creditors, especially credit card companies and long-term loans like mortgages and auto loans. Utilities are usually not included because if you do not pay, they simply disconnect your service.

Each credit bureau has a similar method to calculate your credit score. They use a point system to evaluate many different factors, such as

*
number of credit cards and current balance on each (considered as debt)
*
number and amount of other outstanding debts, such as mortgage, educational loans, car loans, etc.
*
payment record for each debt, including late payments, outstanding balances on credit cards, length of time of outstanding balances, missed payments, payments turned over to credit collection agencies, credit counseling intervention, bankrupcy, etc.
*
for each negative factor, points are deducted from a perfect score of 850. Nobody has a perfect score, since we all have some form of current debt, even if we have never made a late payment.
*
students or new arrivals to the US may have little to no credit established, resulting in low credit scores.

When you apply for a loan, the lender will get your credit scores from all three agencies. They will be similar, but not exactly the same. They calculate the average of the three scores and that is the number they use to assess your credit risk.

It is easy to see that the lower your debt, and the better your payment patterns, the higher will be your credit score.

Law of Attraction - What Do You Want

By Aldian Prakoso
What do you want? Once you know what you want, you can figure out why you desire it and what impact it will that have on your life.

If you don't know what you want, that's OK.... First, make two lists on a sheet of paper, one for your desires, the other for what you don't want in your life. The difference between the two is called contrast. Under the heading of wants, write down things such as: new car, great job, and wonderful relationship. Be as specific as you can be to the point of color, shape, size, texture, and when you want it. On the other side, under the heading of don't wants, write things such as a nagging boss, bad relationships, broken down car, and so forth.

You can now see, by comparing the items on the two lists what is truly important to you and this an easy, specific way to visually see what you really desire by illustrating what you don't want. Identifying what you want is the greatest place to start the search for your desire and your purpose in life. Why? Because your soul has led you to the point to ask, "What do you want," and of course, you said, "I don't know."

When you start on your journey by stating what you want in the positive, it will get those juices flowing and you won't believe how many people will come forth to assist you on your journey. To help strengthen your resolve, you can post pictures of your desire all around your house, at your office, and even in your car. These visuals will help you stay focused and shield you against unwanted negative thoughts which you may experience during the day from social distraction.

Once you have started, you might want to ask yourself whether the desire is for you or for someone else. If the desire is yours, you will be able to move forward blissfully, for it is in the loving of yourself first that you will bring about change in other areas of your life. Loving and appreciating everything about you sets in motion the vibration of good feelings into the Universe, which in turn sends you sensations that are more positive. If for some reason you want a particular desire to please someone else, you will fail or become diseased in your attempt to force their desire into existence. Why? Because trying to align with someone else's desire would take a lot of energy, if you were not totally connected to the Universe. When you want something for another allow yourself to hold that desire in your mind whether the person is joyous, depressed or diseased that is your part. When something is forced and it does not come from volition, it will cause an unsuccessful outcome.

Drug Rehab Part Of New Washington State Prison Reform Bill

By Rod Mataggart
A new Washington State law backed by $25 million in state funding aims to keep ex-offenders from returning to state prison by providing them with needed counseling, education, job-training skills or drug rehab.

The Offender Re-Entry Act (Senate Bill 6157), which passed with bipartisan support, requires the Department of Corrections to draw up a plan for the employment and treatment of every offender before his or her release from prison. It aims to address the major reasons offenders violate the terms of their release and end up back behind bars: mental illness, lack of job skills, illiteracy and lack of drug rehab. The law is the state’s latest effort to control the state prison population by reducing prisoner recidivism. In Washington, 37 percent of released offenders return to prison within five years. They take up space needed for inmates convicted of new crimes. To house them, the state rents jail and work-release center space from several counties, and even from other states.

To help implement the new law, the state plans to build two large treatment centers. Each facility will hold between 200 and 500 ex-convicts charged with violating terms of their release. Each will provide a range of options including literacy education, job training and access to drug rehab. Community corrections officers will have new tools for supervising released offenders, including the discretion to recommend returning them to state custody after three violations.

Under the state’s Drug Offender Sentencing Alternative (DOSA) which has been operating for nearly a decade, certain felony offenders can receive a shorter prison sentence if they participate in and complete a drug rehab program. This existing program has resulted in a statistically significant reduction of 7 percent in reconviction rates within 24 months, and paid the state back in the range of $7.25 to $9.94 in benefits per dollar of cost. But it has only been available to two types of felons: drug offenders convicted for possessing a small amount of a controlled substance, and drug-involved property offenders.

The new legislation extends substance abuse treatment options to those felons with alcohol and drug addiction and dependencies not necessarily part of their crimes. Felons with untreated addictions have little hope of recovery when jail time is their only option, and their eventual return to prison seems inevitable. The new program holds hope that recidivism will be significantly reduced for such prisoners who complete a successful drug rehab program.
