Children and the Law of Attraction

Author: Beth McCain

From birth, children naturally use the Law of Attraction. They want a bottle and it is given to them. They want to sleep and do so when they feel like it. As they get older, society takes away this natural inclination; both to want, and get what they want.

Does this mean if you want your child to live the Law of Attraction that you are compelled to give them everything they ask for, including a later bedtime?

Absolutely not.

There are ways for parents to teach their children the myriad methods of the Law of Attraction without the distraction of a screaming tantrum. When they don't get every new toy on the block, they must be reminded that even though you may have told them that they can have anything they want with LOA, it doesn't necessarily mean that the Law of Attraction is merely a direct conduit to the nearest Toys 'R Us.

Naturally, this can be confusing.

The principles of the Law of Attraction are fairly basic. Whatever one focuses and concentrates on for a period of time will attract back to that person directly from the Universe.

Whatever feelings for a particular subject that are emitted to the Universe will be sent back, promising situations that include more of the same feeling originally emitted.

This being the basis of the Law of Attraction, a child from a young age should be taught that feelings are very important when it comes to obtaining desires. If they are acting in a demanding fashion, they will begin to encounter demanding experiences. On the other hand, if they are kind and exhibit a sharing nature, they will encounter more kind and sharing experiences.

Many children are taught that daydreaming is wrong, when in fact daydreaming is a major form of focus for children. When a child is daydreaming, he or she is engaged in building the castles of their future. Go easy on a child that is daydreaming. When you find your child daydreaming during a time other pursuits are necessary, such as school or an appointment, pull them out of it easily and quietly. Commanding them to stop daydreaming and to 'get back to work' too abruptly cuts off their daydream when perhaps they are in the process of creating their desires. And remember: If you live a life of ease, calm, and kindness, your child will benefit greatly.

Is Kindness a Rare Commodity?

One would think that parents these days would teach their children kindness a just a natural extension of growing up. Regrettably, this doesn’t always happen.
Life is fast paced these days (but when wasn't it?), and parents may forget that teaching a child kindness is just as important as teaching them the basics of addition and subtraction. Teaching your children how to respond to others and how to be grateful and joyous throughout the day will put them on a wonderful path toward learning about the Law of Attraction.

This suggests a great game one can play with children called The Thankful Game. We play this game at our seminars, as well as in the car with our children. The 'rules' are simply this: Each player announces what they are thankful for. No player can repeat a 'Thankful' that anyone else has said. If a 'Thankful' is repeated by a player, that player's turn is over. The 'winner' is the player who is the last one standing without having repeated a thankful thought. The purpose of the game is to teach children to be thankful for everything, both simple and wonderful, that surrounds them in their world.

The game also inspires some wonderful feelings that, through the Law of Attraction, will bring more joy back to you and your children.

There will be a point in the game when you start to run out of thankful ideas. This is when you have to become more inventive and think of any little thing to be grateful for. Sometimes this part of the game becomes the gateway to silliness and mirth; one of the most wonderful feelings a child, or anyone, for that matter, can emit to the Universe. This also introduces the concept of finding even the smallest things to be grateful for, something that will help any child as they grow into adulthood.

For example, one day we had been playing The Thankful Game for over twenty minutes when our little eight year old daughter began running out of ideas. It was her turn and she blurted out, "I am thankful for the bird doo-doo on the window shield." We all laughed and my husband asked how she could be grateful for bird splat. She answered matter-of-factly, "Because, Daddy, the bird doo-doo is on the car, and not on my head!"

Do your children, and the world they inhabit, a favor, and teach them the Law of Attraction. Teach them to be grateful, kind, and non judgmental toward others. And teach them to do the same in their own lives. Give them the best head start possible toward becoming a wonderful adult who appreciates and understands how to apply the Law of Attraction in daily life. Teach them now, and know forever that you have given them the best gift possible in the Universe; you will have given them the Universe itself.

Is Pursuing a Career in Patent Law the Right Move for You?

Author: Lisa Parmley

Is Pursuing a Career in Patent Law the Right Move for You? Copyright 2005 Lisa Parmley Intellectual Properties Enterprises, Inc http://www.PatentBarStudy.com

Did you know that you might be eligible to gain entry into
the field of patent law even without a law degree? The basic
requirements are a degree in a technology-related field and the
will to pass the Patent Bar Exam.

The field of patent law is wide open to Biologists, Chemists,
Engineers, Computer Scientists, and many other science and
technology professionals. And it's true; individuals with the
proper science or engineering degree need only pass the Patent
Bar to become registered Patent Agents.

Upon becoming a Patent Agent, you may gain employment writing and
prosecuting patent applications at law firms, technology transfer
offices, biotech or engineering corporations, and government
institutes.

>From there, you may decide whether or not to go on to law school
and become a Patent Attorney. In addition to writing and
prosecuting patents, a Patent Attorney can also litigate in
patent infringement cases.

The Perfect Skill Set

Patent law is the perfect field for many creative and talented
individuals since it requires so many qualities to be successful.

There is definitely a people-oriented side to a career in patent
law. This is especially true when you consider the "isolated lab
environment" most scientists and engineers are used to. Contrast
this with the fact that an inventor's hopes and dreams will be
riding on the invention and you will be there every step of the
way to help them achieve their goals. Obviously, a great deal of
interviewing and excellent communication is required in order to
adequately learn what was invented and write a patent
application.

Which brings us to the next point, patent practitioners must
also have excellent writing skills. Drafting a quality patent
application is tedious work that requires the absolute best in
written communication.

In addition, a strong background in either science or technology
is a must. You will have to understand exactly what has been
invented in order to write a quality patent application.

Lastly, as a Patent Practitioner, you should possess a thirst for
never-ending knowledge. You will be right on the cutting edge of
research and development and will always be exposed to new and
exciting discoveries virtually before anyone else!

The Dollars and Cents

It's the million dollar question. What might you expect to
make as a professional in the field of patent law? Well,
the pay scale varies from $45,000 up to $250,000+ for Patent
Practitioners and is determined by many factors (yes I realize
that's quite a span).

First, as we've already eluded, if you are a scientist or
engineer without a law degree you will be classified as a Patent
Agent after you pass the Patent Bar Exam. If you have a law
degree and are already considered an attorney, you will be
classified as a Patent Attorney upon passing the exam. As a
Patent Attorney with the same level of experience as a Patent
Agent, you will typically earn the higher income because in
addition to writing and prosecuting patents, you may also help
protect patents in a court of law.

Second, your degree level will help determine your pay. If you
have a Bachelor's degree in your particular area of expertise,
you will typically make less than someone with a Master's or a
PhD.

Third, your experience level will make a difference. Your
previous positions will count when factoring your salary. The
number of years you have worked as an engineer or scientist
will make a difference. The more experience you have, the more
valuable you will be perceived by the company. The longer you
have worked in the field of patent law, the higher your pay will
be as well.

Lastly, where you seek employment makes a difference in your pay.
Law firms typically pay the most, whereas a Technology Transfer
department at a University will usually pay the least.
Furthermore, the state and city you apply for work in will
also play a factor.

Hot Commodity

Businesses in the science and technology sectors regard patents
as their lifeline. Therefore, gaining status as a registered
Patent Practitioner can open many career doors for you.

Since the fields of research and intellectual property are so
intertwined, imagine the new career opportunities you would be
presented with if you were trained in both areas. Furthermore, as
a scientist or engineer, most of the qualifications necessary to
achieve registration as a Patent Practitioner have usually
already been met. It is likely that your only requirement may be
to pass the Patent Bar Exam. It is a difficult hurdle, but in
comparison to the time and money you already spent to become a
scientist or an engineer, the time and money necessary to pass
the Patent Bar Exam is reasonable.

In today's unpredictable job market, expanding your skills makes
sense, especially when this can be accomplished for a relatively
low expense and little time. Compared to getting a degree,
setting aside even a full year (although it can be completed in
much less time) to learn about the patent prosecution process and
take the Patent Bar Exam is very reasonable. Especially when you
further consider the fact that it will open an entirely new
career door for you. Whether you wish for a complete job change
or the desire to become more marketable for technology based
companies, gaining skills is always a smart move to make.

The Law of Attraction and How It Always Comes Back to You

Author: Beth McCain

When applying the Law of Attraction, it always comes back to you and your perception. Everything and everyone you encounter in your life, you have intentionally or unintentionally attracted into your world.

You may be saying to yourself, "There is no way that I attracted that mean old man who yelled at me for passing him on the road." Believe it or not, at some time you produced an emotion that attracted that experience to you. And it didn't take just one thought and one feeling to cause the experience to attract to you. It came from a repetitious thought and feeling over time. Everything that comes into your world is always attracted from a thought and feeling that you are possessing or have possessed.

When you experience a day when everyone seems to mirror the same kind of mood, whether crabby or happy, frustrated or serene, take a look at yourself. People who are in your life whether for just a moment or everyday, are a reflection of what or who you are attracting. All that we are, in fact, is a direct result of what we have thought.

Is there any control over where our lives are lead through the Law of Attraction? Yes, there is. Begin to take responsibility for your life. Realize that you have created everything that is in your life, and that it is just as easy to create a life that you want.

By looking at what is around you, you are able to tell what direction you are headed through the people that come into your life, and by how you react to them. You can also tell which direction you are headed by the situations that seem to be attracting to you as well.

Let's say you have been maintaining a clear image of a fulfilling relationship. During your visualization time you continually get interrupted by some negative feelings and thoughts of your old flame, and his or her bad habits, but you continue to visualize.

The next week you discover your e-dating service connects someone who is interested in meeting you. So you hook up the date and you go and meet him/her. Ten minutes into the date you realize that she/he is just like your old flame.

Now this is pretty obvious. By what you are attracting you are not heading in the right direction. Sure, you were visualizing clearly but with muddled feelings of an old relationship thrown into the stew pot. The Universe is letting you know that you are attracting what you are thinking and feeling and this is what you are attracting. The great thing about this scenario is that you receive a clear indicator that you want to build some better feelings and thoughts for your clear image.

Be aware of what the Universe is telling you and indicating to you and adjust your thoughts and feelings accordingly. Every incident, every person, every circumstance all comes back to you.

Take your clear image and create clearer, more wonderful feelings to go with that image. When you leave behind all the past events and people that have had a negative pull on your life, you will attract people free of that negative pull. But you must first start with yourself. Take inventory of what feelings and thoughts you want as much as the ones you don't, and stick to a clear image. Then take notes from the Universe when it shows you that you have attracted something you don't want.

Become clearer in your image and feelings of what you do want. You can't go wrong if you listen and see the indicators that the Universe gives as it steers you to where you want to be. The Law of Attraction never fails.

Using Law Of Attraction To Break Bad Habits

Author: Enoch Tan

We have been taught that to use the law of attraction to create the reality we desire, we must focus more on what we want and less on what we don't want. But yet there are times when the things we don't want continue to be created even though we try not to focus on them. The truth is that there are times when we must focus on what we don't want so that we can attract it out fully and see it for what it is. What we don't want could be part of what we want and that is why we are still creating it unknowingly.

No habit is completely good or bad. There is always a benefit that it can provide and a detriment that it can cause. The mixture of positive and negative aspects is what traps most people in addictions. Focusing on the positive aspects alone does not remove the effect of the negative aspects. Most people use the law of attraction in a way that's unenlightened, that's why they keep miscreating their lives. From the place of seeing things for what they are completely, we can truly create in a conscious manner.

The reason why the undesirable consequences reoccur over and over again is because people ignore it and choose to focus on the positive aspects instead. But ignoring negative consequences do not make them go away. By observing what is, you begin to see what needs to be handled because intentions are a package deal. You cannot accept a portion without experiencing the rest that goes with it. If something as a whole isn't beneficial for you, you have to learn to drop the whole thing in place of another.

What you resist persists. You resist something by ignoring it. It is alright to ignore something negative as long as it stands by itself, but if it is attached to something else that is positive, it will still remain if you hold on to that positive thing without observing and resolving what is on the other side. Evolution of being is about learning all we can from a situation whether positive or negative, and then transcending both aspects so that we may be free to move without entrapment of the negative with the positive.

In order to remove something, first let it flourish. We expand a problem by focusing on the negative aspects in order to make it grow to full bloom. It is the little things that matter because they form the foundation of whole systems and relationships. When we treat a fundamental issue as something to be taken lightly and brushing it off, we are actually doing the worst for the problem as it will continue to perpetuate and bite into all overlying issues without us even being conscious or able to do anything with it.

Focusing on a problem and making it as bad as you can make it to be may seem like the worst thing to do. But what seems to be the worst thing can actually be the best thing. Because when you accelerate its effect to the point where you can see the ultimate worst scenario it can bring about, you are able to resolve it at its worst and the only thing that remains will be good after that. It is this paradoxical way of engaging reality that reveals how the universe actually works, and how total resolution operates.

We tend to focus on pleasure and avoid pain because we think experiencing one is good but experiencing the other is bad. Pain and pleasure are neutral. It is not a matter of seeing one thing as good and another as bad. Both are forces that can be used to serve you in getting what you want. Pleasure a motivating force that moves you towards what you desire and pain is a motivating force that moves you away from what you do not desire. Using both forces together will give you maximum moving power.

Pain and pleasure works well as a combination if the pain is from something and the pleasure is from something else. But there is a conflict that occurs when the pain and pleasure come from different aspects of the same thing. You are pushing yourself away and pulling yourself towards the thing at the same time. That is why you seem to go nowhere and keep on experiencing the same turmoil of good and bad stuff. Pain and pleasure works properly when they are in alignment and not opposing one another.

Congruence is power and incongruence is powerlessness. That is why people are powerless when they are in conflict with themselves about what they really want. If you want to move from powerlessness to power, you have to turn from being incongruent to being congruent. You do this by stopping your experience of the pleasure from pulling you towards the very thing that causes you pain. You focus on increasing the pain and negativity of the situation until you become fully congruent with moving away.

Use massive pain as a leverage to drive you into breaking free. The breaking point comes when you finally say you had enough of a situation and make a fully intentional decision to end it right there and then. As long as there is a part that is hanging on to it, we haven't generated enough pain to cut ourselves loose. It is not the pain of leaving but the pain of staying on that helps us to make that decision with full power. When you're free, you don't need the pain and can focus on the pleasure of being free.

Use the law of attraction to pull out the problem and nail it once and for all. Your level of ability to attract all that you desire in your life depends on the amount of energies you have freed from negative issues to channel fully into your desired manifestations. All suffering is the result of attachment. Suffering is not evil but it is a process that can trap you in evil or free you from it. Draw out the evil so that you can deal with it. Maximize the suffering until it forces you to cut of attachment and transcend suffering.

How To Harness The Law Of Attraction To Improve Your Business!

By: Mal Mortoo
As you sit there and read the beginning of this report you start to feel that a home business is not for everyone. Making a decision to work from home is a risk for some people who want to change their present situation. It is a big step, but can be very rewarding if you equip yourself with the mental capacity for lifelong wealth and prosperity.

The following is a quote by Bill Harris, the creator of Holosync and a featured teacher in The Secret, Bill has taught hundreds of thousands of people how to harness The Law of Attraction to make lasting improvements in their lives.

"…THE KEY to getting anything done in the world, including making money:

"For any outcome you want, there is a certain way of THINKING and ACTING that will get it for you. You have to find that way of thinking and acting, and then ADOPT IT."

Burn this into your brain. There is no other way to accomplish something in the world. No other way. Right now, you are getting the results you’re experiencing because they are the direct result of the way you are currently thinking and acting. To get different results, that way of thinking and acting is going to have to change. There is no other way."

The Law of Attraction applies to all situations in life and business is no different. Believing in yourself and being able to persevere despite all odds is a prerequisite. This concept and that of business gives you control over your money, control over your life and freedom to do whatever you desire.

Attracting the business that is right for your skills, experience and training is the key to making the Law of Attraction work for you. You never want to choose a home-based business that does not make you feel passionate and motivated. Your emotions can tell you exactly what business you should be in. If you can answer honestly to the question, "Is this right for me?," then you will be likely to get the right answer.

By asking questions that force you to give an answer honestly, then you will allow the Law of Attraction to effectively work in your life. You will encourage yourself to expand your mindset and FOCUS ON WHAT YOU WANT. You are now acting as your own coach where your focus will shift to the possibilities and not the impossibilities.

If negative feelings surface, it may mean that you are fearful about starting a business and leaving the security of a job. This is when you have to look at the positives of owning a business like the flexibility, freedom and income potential it will offer you compared to your day job. Remember, this is something you can start part-time and then transition to full-time when you see the money start coming in.

If you focus on the positive, you will attract positive results. If you have a purpose in mind and aim to fulfill it, you will be able to choose the business that is right for you.

Start with your skills and talents. You can never go wrong with what you already know. With this in mind, what you know will attract what you want. Write down a plan of action and start with the basics. Paint a visual picture in your mind of what you want. This will help you attain your Definite Purpose faster.

If you have the sense of purpose to know exactly what you want in a home-based business, you don’t have to look very far because everything starts in the mind and how you envision it to be. You will just attract more of it, if you put your thought and focus on it.

Using the Law of Attraction is not just getting lucky. It is about defining what you want and thinking about it long enough to create a mental awareness of what you need to do to accomplish it. Once you keep taking some action, the rest will follow. It is just that simple. In short, you attract situations into your life that help you achieve your goals.

Your mind might want to resist something as new to it as the Law of Attraction, but you only need to keep focused on the end result. Where are you and where are you going? Write down your goals, visualize and act on your goals everyday. See yourself owning that business, getting up when you want to, seeing your car parked in the garage while others are going to work, see yourself at a business lunch with a client and see yourself sitting in front of your computer each day accomplishing your day’s goal.

We see and experience the world, not as it is, but as we are. We literally create our own reality.

Will it take work? Yes. Is there a small learning curve? Yes. But can you do it? YES!

"The first and best victory is to conquer self." - Plato
