How To Visualize And Use The Law Of Attraction To Help Your ...

It is more than likely that you will have heard the Law of Attraction being used to further people's financial situation.
It is also probable that you have heard of the Law of Attraction being applied to attract a life partner or soul mate.
This is no surprise as these are the two most common uses of the Law of Attraction; namely wealth and relationships.
However it should be highlighted that the Law of Attraction can be employed to have a notable impact on your physical body. This is totally logical if we consider the basic premise of how the Law of Attraction operates.
Your body is made of energy and you also give out energy. Sometimes the energy you give out is positive, and sometimes (not too often I hope) it is negative. What you focus on will determine which. Focus on good things, the energy will be positive. Focus on bad things, the energy will be negative.
Whichever it is, you will attract back to you the same. So if you are feeling upbeat and positive, good things will seem to come your way with ease. However if you are down and negative it is likely that things will go from bad to worse.
A great method to focus on the upbeat and positive aspects of your life and thus enable the Law of Attraction to work, is visualization. By visualizing what you want to achieve you are actually consciously creating it.
A classic example is sportsmen & women who see in their minds eye what they intent to do physically. Athletes will visualize themselves crossing the line first. For golfers it will be hitting the winning putt or the perfect drive. Tennis players will envisage an ace serve or winning volley. This visualization process is called Visual Motor Rehearsal and it is the way these athletes apply the Law of Attraction.
It has been proven in laboratories that when athletes 'play' their sport in their mind their muscles actually react as though they were really competing. In other words so powerful are their thoughts, they can actually cause a physical response in their bodies. By using the Law of Attraction in this way they have a winning edge their competitors.
All the greatest sportsmen and women throughout history have undoubtedly closed their eyes at some point and 'seen' themselves winning or picking up the champions trophy. They thought they could win and believed they could win. More often than not they DID win.
By using the Law of Attraction, by visualizing yourself undertaking any physical task or sport, you too can enhance your physical performance.
Whether you want to run a marathon, hit a home run or cut your golf handicap by a few strokes, this method can produce results. Whatever your physical challenge may be, use the Law of Attraction to visualize yourself getting the results you want. Do it in a spirit of positive belief and you will achieve what you desire.
Ready, steady, Go!

A Christian Perspective on The Secret and The Law of Attraction

Submitted by Dan
The Law of Attraction is a very real concept, and when you read the words of Jesus, you must believe in it!However, when you study the Law of Attraction you mustb be careful whom you're learning it from! The teachers of The Secret have brought a lot of confusion to the Christian for some very good reasons...
By now, you've probably heard about the best-selling book called "The Secret." This book is also in a DVD and Audio CD format... It's become absolutely huge!
The concept is, by using this secret, which is "The Law of Attraction," you can create ANYTHING you want in your life: more money, a bigger house, more business, a new mate, literally anything you want!
While The Secret contains many truths, it also contains some contradictory ideas to the Word of God. For example, I personally disagree with the notion that a person can have just ANYTHING. The reason is... because we were born with different strengths skills, talents, and abilities.
God made us all unique, with a purpose, and with a certain mission. It really isn't "all about us!" Now does that mean The Secret and the Law of Attraction is all just a bunch of garbage? Absolutely not!
Below, I've listed 3 points that will help the believer in Christ understand how The Secret, The Law of Attraction, and God's will should all work together in our lives.
1. Clarification for the Believer in Christ
The Secret's teaching on the Law of Attraction has brought a lot of confusion to the believer in Christ for one very good reason... It leaves out the entire concept of "God's will!
If you've been trying to use The Law of Attraction in the way the teachers of The Secret teach, you'll soon find yourself feeling far from God!
Should we then, not study the Law of Attraction?Absolutely not! The Law of Attraction is very real, and when you read the words of Jesus, you must believe in it!
When you study the Law of Attraction you must be careful whom you're learning it from (most of the teachers of The Secret do not profess to be followers of Christ)!
Jesus' teaching on the Law of Attraction dealt with our beliefs, thoughts, words and actions. The teachers of The Secret teach that our words and thoughts are enough, like there's some sort of magic in what we request from the "Universe," and a relationship with our Saviour means nothing. Remember John 14:6, "No one comes to the Father but through Me!"
The wisest man who ever lived said this; "Dreaming instead of doing is foolishness, and there is ruin in a flood of empty words; Fear God instead" (Ecclesiastes 5:7)!
2. The Secret and God's Will
If you're a Christian, you're joint-heirs with Christ because you've been adopted into His family. This all means you're in His will, which also means He directs your steps!
Jeremiah 29:11 says, "I know the thoughts I think toward you says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end!"
This Scripture tells us we need to seek God's will for our lives... seek what He wants! When we're doing what we're anointed to do, we'll experience success!
When we seek our own thing we'll fail miserably, for Jeremiah 17:5 says, "Cursed is the one that trusts in man!" Whatever does not begin with God will certainly end in failure!
When you're merely seeking after what you want, and not what God wants, you're in the flesh, which is sin! And we know sin separates us from God. Again, remember Jeremiah 17:5, "Cursed is the one that trusts in man" (the word "Man" means flesh, or one's self)!
God wants a relationship with us more than anything else. He wants our heart, and it grieves Him when we chase after selfish things instead of Him. Matthew 6:33 says, "Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you!"
3. Why The Secret Works for Everyone
The Law of Attraction is a Godly principle. It's just that the wordly teaching of it is not Godly.
Because The Law of Attraction is a Godly principle, it will work for everyone, whether they have faith in Christ or not. It's a universal law containing Godly principles. It's just that the teachers of the Secret have distorted the biblical references by leaving God out of the equation.
I'm sure you've noticed, non-Christian people can achieve great success in their chosen endeavors just as Christians can. Why? Because they're practicing Godly principles. They just don't realize it.
Just like the Law of Gravity is always working, so is the Law of Attraction! The Law of Attraction largely determines what we get out of life. It has been working FOR, and AGAINST us since we were born.
The Law of Attraction basically says, "What you think about the most becomes your reality," or "Thoughts become things!"
So, if you ARE, or ARE NOT getting the things you really and truly desire out of life, I challenge you to consider what you're thinking about most of the time! What you think about most flows out of your life! Proverbs 4:23 says, "Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it flow the issues of life."
If you read my newsletter every week, and I'm sure you do, right? You know I write a lot about how important your thinking is!
What is "thinking?" It's a manner of faith! Jesus said, "According to your faith be it unto you" (Matthew 9:29), and Proverbs 23:7 tells us, "As a man thinks, so is he!"
Conclusion
Jeremiah 17:7 says, "Blessed is the one that trusts in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is!"
It's a sad thing for a believer to lose his or her peace! It's only when we trust Him, is when we have perfect peace... and it's when we begin to trust in ourselves is when we lose it. Once peace is gone, nothing will work.
This is why the teachers of The Secret are so dangerous... by leaving out God's will, they suggest we ought to trust in ourselves to get the things we want.
A Christian should use the Law of Attraction to glorify God in his or her life, not merely to obtain selfish ambitions.
By seeking His will, knowing what He wants from us, and then trusting Him to help us as we keep focused on that very thing, we'll put ourselves in a position to receive.
Now, since we've clarified that The Secret, or The Law of Attraction is real, understanding it thoroughly is another thing. Truly understanding it with a Christian perspective is even more vital if you've been saved, because now you've become His, and you must stay within His will!
So think about Jesus' words, "All things are possible to him who believes" (Mark 9:23)! All things means just that... all things... good and bad!
If you are, or are not, getting the things you really and truly believe God wants for you in your life, I challenge you to consider what you're thinking about most of the time!
The teachers of "The Secret" say that The Law of Attraction means "Thoughts become things." But, in reality, the Law of Attraction actually means, "What we think about most flows out of our lives!" We find this truth in Proverbs 4:23, "Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it flow the issues of life."

Riding Lawn Mowers: 4 Quick Tips to Help You Choose the Best Mower

Submitted by David
Looking into getting a riding lawn mower? Read on to find out how you can choose the best one for your needs.
Tired of pushing around your tired old mower? Have a large lawn or field on your property, and are sick of taking up your entire Saturday just to get the stupid thing mowed? If any of these are the case, you might very well want to look into getting a riding mower to help make your life a whole a lot easier.
As you may know, a riding lawnmower is basically a small tractor with a permanently attached mower component. Since they are self propelled and cover a wide swatch of grass with each path, they work great for those who have large yards or fields to deals with on a regular basis. However, if you have a small yard, the large size and relative lack of maneuverability when compared to a push style mower might not make it very convenient, and certainly not worth the extra cost.
However, if you known you want a good riding mower, how do you go about choosing the best one? Well, there are several factors to look for. You need to be considering size, horse power, ability to include attachments, reliability, cost, brand reputation, and more. It's not easy, but for a large purchase like this, doing your homework is always recommended. The following should help you make sense of some of these factors you need to consider before purchasing your riding lawn mower.
Firstly, you need to make sure you get the right size of mower. Too small, and you're not going to get the job done any faster. Too large, and you'll have a huge, bulky, expensive vehicle that won't be as maneuverable as you might want for a smaller yard. The size of the mower is measured by the size of the "mowing deck." Many push style mowers uses a 20" deck, whereas riding mowers ad lawn tractors generally start at 30" and go up from there. Try to calculate how wide your yard is. You can then use this number to figure out how many passes you would need to mow the lawn with any given size of mower.
Secondly, you should look into horse power. The higher the horse power, the better you can handle hills, cut thick grass, pull special attachments, etc. If you're just trying to keep your suburban lawn looking neat, this might not be a high priority, but if you've got huge fields of hilly tall grass to mow, you'll appreciate that extra power quite quickly. Just make sure you get enough for your needs, and you should do OK.
Of critical importance for many is the turning radius of the mower. If you can't turn tightly enough, you'll never be able to get the corners looking good. This usually means some sort of compromise with the size, but always check the manufacturers specs to see what they list. Some of the larger models might surprise you with their nimble turning radii.
Finally, the most important factor in choosing a riding mower is reliability. The last thing you want to be doing is fussing around fixing your mower, so be sure to choose a brand with a good reputation for dependability and an abundance of available spare parts. If you skimp and get a cheap, flaky mower, you will most definitely regret it.
So, I hope this all has help you see what you need to do to choose a good mower for your needs. It's not rocket science, to be sure, but a little homework and consideration goes a long way into making your mower work well for you. Here's to the success of your lawn!
