Law of Attraction - Think For Yourself

By : Ken Triat
When I was researching for information on the internet the other day I came across a small article written by Donald J Trump. It was not directly related to the law of attraction, but was in fact related to a segment on real-estate investment.. However I think that you would all have to agree Donald Trump shows both through his actions and attitudes to business success, that he follows the principals of the law of attraction. Those same principals of wealth creation, which we ourselves strive for as we progress towards and achieve as our goals.
I have provided an extract of the key points from the article related to the Law of Attraction and have included them below in italics.

“Follow your own path because it will bring you
to the places you were meant to be.” -
(Donald J. Trump)

When people don’t think for themselves, problems occur.
In fact, the lowest points in history occurred when people
stopped thinking for themselves and followed the wrong
individuals. These times gave rise to dictators, genocide
and brutal, inhuman behavior.

So invest the time to identify your intrinsic values – what you really want and are willing to work hard to get. They provide you with strength, determination, and a powerful compass.
Look at the big picture; think on a Trump scale. Find out what you really want to dedicate your life to and then go out and achieve it.

Finding your purpose may take a while or all of your life. Or you could have discovered it when you were five years old and are still refining it. Since we all differ and have varying priorities, we all must move at our own pace. Make it a priority to keep exploring, learning, discovering, and moving forward because that is the best recipe for a successful life.

Good constructive information you would all agree. Here is a man who has it all, well beyond what most of us could ever set as a goal, let alone as an achievement in a life time. Time and time again we keep coming back to this one theme if we are t be successful in both our business and personal lives and that is to THINK FOR YOURSELF. In thought are our future actions put into place. In thinking through the subject in question we need to consider the business aspects, the positive and negative outcomes and there impacts, the impacts on the people involved directly and indirectly and importantly the impacts on our personal well being. Ask yourself can you live with the decisions you are about to make, because if you can’t, do some rethinking. Ask others for advise, modify the decision if necessary to the point where you can live with it. To compromise is to show that you are human.

Obviously there will be times where you will have to bear the decision, as it is the best long term answer to the situation. In such cases you then need to look to at the consequences of the action and control them to the best of your ability, particularly where fellow human beings are involved. Why ? because you are the accountable person in our society. Accountable not only to the broad community but to yourself as a member of this grouping we call humanity.

The law of attraction tells us to give of ourselves and we will be rewarded in greater abundance.

Law Of Attraction - A Mentor Could Be the Key

By: Ken Triat

Donald Trump has repeatedly stated that for any young mind entering into business the best thing that they can do is to seek out and find a mentor at the outset. A mentor who can help guide you through the heady days of the start up process, the rental of property for offices, the engagement of staff, Setting budgets and business plans for lending authorities and a shoulder to lean on when the going gets a bit tough.

When people ask Donald J. Trump to name the person who had the greatest influence on him, his answer is always the same. Donald Trump always says that it was his father, Fred Trump Why? Because it was Fred Trump who offered him the greatest advice, encouragement and support. In other words, Fred Trump was a great mentor. Today when you look around the world and see the Trump name on so many extraordinary buildings and projects, you are witnessing the power that a great mentor can have to help you achieve your success.

The right mentor can do the same thing for you. He or she can offer advice and act as a sounding board for your plans. When you encounter setbacks, your mentor can encourage you to move ahead. But notice that I said “the right mentor.” Because unfortunately there are good mentors and bad mentors and therefore their influence can be either beneficial or unfortunately detrimental to you reaching your goals that you have set under the law of attraction. Let me explain.

The right mentor for you

Is a person of good character who has achieved notable success in your field. You can have a second mentor who has become successful in another more specific field that you need information on. This second mentor could be your clergy person or a former coach or teacher. But because most business fields will have very specific issues, legal issues and challenges, your primary mentor should have enough knowledge in this field to alert you to problems and opportunities. In other words, he or she has spent time in the business you have chosen, has experienced the “school of hard knocks” and can shorten the amount of time you spend there if it cannot be avoided.

Is someone who is willing to invest time with you, on a regular and ongoing basis. A monthly lunch together can be a great routine to establish. But to keep the flow of input strong, you do need to establish a regular routine for the time you will spend together. Occasional phone calls will not allow a full mentoring relationship to develop. Face to face interaction is critical as the human body tells so much more with its expressions, body movements and hand gestures. Use video conferencing if you have to use the phone such as Skype.com

The wrong mentor for you

Is someone who stands to profit financially from your success, such as a consultant. Don’t cross wires here. When someone is trying to make money by offering you advice, that person’s judgment can become clouded by self-interest. Your mentor/s might be great sources of practical advice, for example. But they cannot become a true mentor, whose purpose is to help you track toward your long-range goals if they gain from your activities. This person is hired help.

If your mentor is a big fan who thinks you can walk on water and do no wrong. It’s tempting to recruit a mentor like that, but he or she will not give you the kind of frank advice you need if your thinking goes off the track. You need a realist, not a cheerleader who shifts the blame for you, as against making you responsible for your mistakes.

Is a bitter person with an axe to grind because he or she failed to become successful. A mentor like that can sabotage your plans to make sure you are also unsuccessful. They will not want your success to become the emphasis of their failure

Remember, it takes time to select the right mentor. Don’t just call a likely candidate and says, “You are my mentor.” Have “test runs” instead with three or four possible candidates before formalizing the mentoring relationship. When you find someone who listens and who offers advice based on your needs and not his or her own, you’ll know you are on the right track.

When your heart and mind tell you that you have found the right mentor for your business success, take the next step. Then formalize the relationship and let your success begin. You control the rewards, take them out for a meal when you meet, give them gifts and other forms of appreciation for their time and advise so freely given for you to build from.

Don’t fear asking some one for assistance, unless they are a direct competitor. Most people respond favorably to being asked for assistance and even more favorably to being a mentor. If you supply products to a client and they respect you as a supplier, consider asking for mentoring from the client. It’s in their best interest for you to succeed. A mentor like this can help spot the steps to success, that key opportunity, provided you freely confide g with them.

When we look at the law of attraction and wealth generation you can clearly see how a mentor can be of great assistance in your clearly defined goal setting. Their support is invaluable in your wealth creation, personal development and gaining of life skills.

Is The Law Of Attraction A New Age Myth?

By: Mike Jennings

Have you been one of those people who has been swept up in the huge publicity that has been part of recent coverage on the Law of Attraction? Or are you one of its critics?

Everyone you talk to seems to have seen the "The Secret" DVD, or read articles about it and its message. However, not everyone seems to be of the same opinion. "The Secret" was already a sales success before Oprah did her show and publicised by Ellen DeGeneres and other well-known media people. While the high profile media seem to love the product and the whole concept of the law of attraction, some reporters and writers in daily newspapers or weekly magazines seem to take a different view.

One reporter, who admitted she had not even seen "The Secret" DVD, nonetheless felt qualified to write a long article on it and totally denigrate it. Some of her comments were that it seemed to be a re-hash of self-help books across the ages and that its core philosophy is positive thinking, loving yourself and giving yourself permission, and goes on to say "Let's stop before we gag". This reporter did watch the Oprah show however, but did not feel that Oprah's guests had "two novel ideas to rub together".

I certainly would not deny that the law of attraction has been around for as long as man has been on the earth and that various principles based on the law of attraction have been incorporated in many self-help programs over the last few decades. And certainly some of the courses which taught these principles in the past could definitely be considered to be on the "fringe".

However, what is refreshing about "The Secret" is that it brings these ideas out into the mainstream. No longer are they on the fringe, they are becoming accepted into everyday life. All the speakers who appear on the DVD are prominent leaders in their own fields but have also experienced the power of the law of attraction in their everyday lives.

The main principles as listed on "The Secret" official website are that:

"Money is magnetic energy. You are a magnet attracting to you all things, via the signal you are emitting through your thoughts and feelings. Discover how to become a powerful magnet for the creation of personal wealth."

"Relationships can be completely transformed, no matter what they're like right now. Learn how to transform every single relationship you have in your life."

"Concerned about your health? Explore ways to open yourself up and become a powerful magnet to wellness and health starting from wherever you are now."

So basically you attract to yourself what is in your thoughts that you carry around in your subconscious. However, fortunately we can have control over our subconscious and can change what is happening in our lives through visualization of what we would like to achieve or have in life.

Sure, there are going to be sceptics! But I have watched the DVD two or three times and practise visualization techniques myself. It can be hard work but fortunately there are several good programs available to help you to be successful in this process.
