What are you thinking about right now? The Law of Attraction states that "whatever we think about, we bring about". This law may initially seem like new age fluff but believe it or not, there are scientific merits to this proposition. The top quantum physicists of our time have discovered that our universe and our reality is very much directed by the "observer".
When studying quantum particles (the smallest observable unit of matter), these scientists discovered that such particles behave in accordance with the person conducting the experiment. It the scientists "predict" that quantum particles behave in a certain way, they do. And yet, if the scientists "predict" that quantum particles behave in another way, they do. It is the "observer" that dictates the outcome of the experiment!
What does all this mean for us normal people? Well actually, these scientific experiments has far reaching implications for us as our world is made up of these same quantum particles! In this case, we are the "observer" the director and hence the creator of our reality, our world and our experience.
So, be careful of what you think about! For example, have your thoughts ever begun with the following phrases:
I don’t understand…
I don't want...
I’m frustrated that…
I hate my…
I can’t figure out …
I’m stressed about…
I’m worried that…
I should be able to… but I can’t…
Why am I having so much trouble?
The Law of Attraction indifferent to the words preceding your thought. Whatever you think about you will attract into your life. When you think "I don't understand why bad things always happen to me?", you are "attracting" bad things into your life. When you think "I want to get out of debt", you are attracting more debt into your life. When you think "I'm worried I will get sick", you are attracting sickness into your life! The Law of Attraction brings about what you focus on even if it is not what you want. Get it?
If you understand this principle, here are some examples of how to make the law of attraction work to support you rather than to act against you. Try observing your thoughts and changing your thinking in the following way:
"I want to get out of debt" to "I want to earn amazing riches"
"I hate my boss" to "I look forward to owning my own business"
"I don't understand why he is so lazy" to "I love it when he helps out around the house"
"I'm stressed about this project" to "I always create amazing results in my projects"
"I'm worried about getting sick" to "I experience vibrant health daily"
Now that we have a better understanding of the Law of Attraction, it is no surprise why so many people struggle with regards to money. It is been said that "the rich get richer while the poor get poorer". This is actually the Law of Attraction in action. Because the wealthy have money, they often think about how to best use their money and hence they attract more money. The poor on the other hand often think about their present lack of money and unfortunately, that also attracts lack into their lives. Currently, 96% of the world's wealth is being earned by just 1% of the population!
To address this issue, the main teachers behind the movie is launching a program called "The Science of Getting Rich" and it is based on employing the law of attraction to create wealth. This amazing program is based on the principles and philosophies outlined in a book of the same title written in 1910 by Wallace D Wattles. This is the same book that inspired the movie.
What is the Science of Getting Rich about? Well in the words of Wallace D. Wattles, "The ownership of money and property comes as a result of doing things in a certain way. Those who do things in this certain way, whether on purpose or accidentally, get rich. Those who do not do things in this certain way, no matter how hard they work or how able they are, remain poor. It is a natural law that like causes always produce like effects. Therefore, any man or woman who learns to do things in this certain way will infallibly get rich." The Science of Getting Rich Seminar is all about teaching how to do things in this "certain" way to create wealth.

Copyright Infringement Lawsuits Affect Individuals And Businesses
Author: Richard Cunningham
A copyright infringement lawsuit can occur for any number of reasons: someone using a song in a podcast or radio program, a writer “borrowing” information from another work, copying video or mp3 off the Internet without permission (or sometimes, even to another CD or DVD). Copyright infringement lawsuits are not generally brought to the average person, unless they’re downloading a LOT of music or movies, but usually for large operations: software pirates reselling goods on eBay or to some other unsuspecting victim, someone “sampling” a song to make another, or maybe a person reselling mp3s online.
When you understand the implications of it, copyright infringement lawsuits aren’t frivolous as some people think. For the most part, the average person’s familiarity with a copyright infringement lawsuit is taking down copyrighted material after receiving a nasty email.
If you use works from record albums by major recording stars (like Britney Spears or 50 Cent) to make a different recording as your own, then you can be sued for copyright infringement. Usually these suits will be lost because it’s rather hard to prove inspiration, but they are rather costly and draining, especially if there isn’t a large backing legal team.
Copyright infringement lawsuits for large enterprises can be costly and time consuming. If you work for someone, and you plagiarize someone on the company blog, the whole company can be sued, and you can be fired, for that infraction. Another large copyright infringement lawsuit is the eminent MySpace v. Universal Music Group, who is claiming that MySpace is knowingly committing copyright infringement by allowing users to upload copyrighted material. Even then, Universal Music Group has been negotiating with MySpace and couldn’t come to an agreement -- then they filed suit.
Universal Music Group has an agreement with YouTube, where YouTube agrees to follow Universal’s rules. It’s worked out well thus far, and I think with an agreement in place “user created content” will retain a destination on the Internet.
This is a testament we all need to be with social networking sites and ‘user created content.’ We need to watch ourselves, because many times we may not realize the veracity of our actions.
Sometimes, people break copyright laws on purpose. There is a huge market for pirated software -- from Windows to Photoshop to The Sims. It’s very easy to share peer-to-peer, and because of that, people can resell pirated copies for a high price -- all profit. Or they’ll download MP3 and resell them; or eBooks. People who resell these items get nasty penalties -- with both copyright infringement lawsuits and criminal cases. They’ll pay a hefty fine and go to jail.
Copyright infringement lawsuits can affect any one of us -- from our friends on MySpace to our employer, to the computer geek down the street. It’s easy to violate copyrights, and you have to watch yourself. The chances are good that you won’t be involved in a major copyright infringement lawsuit, but you still need to ensure you’re following copyright laws.
Copyright infringement lawsuits are important to determine what is, and isn’t, applicable to copyright laws. Because of these lawsuits, our laws have changed regarding Fair Use, Internet use, and the Electronic Frontier Foundation and CreativeCommons.com. The lawsuits help us to understand what is, and what isn’t fair -- and these organizations have helped the masses to understand what’s so important about copyright, and why we need to defend our freedom of speech.

Law Marketing – How To Increase Your Revenue By An Average Of 27%
by: Henry Harlow
Law marketing is not that complex. It is much easier than becoming a lawyer! Here is a brief listing of law marketing items in order of importance telling you how to get more than a 27% increase on average in revenue within one year using marketing for lawyers well.
1. Raise client fees by at least 5% now – most attorneys can do so, however, they don’t know it. Marketing for lawyers involves understanding pricing strategies and techniques.
2. Capture all billable hours – many attorneys are not keeping contemporaneous time. They are doing it at the end of the day, the end of the week or even the end of the month. Plus they are “writing down” their time from fear the client will protest the amount of time so they cut the time. There is at least a 5% to 10% increase in revenue here for many attorneys. You will have less law marketing to do if you get paid for the work you are doing now.
3. Begin to bill for legal assistants – I still find solo and small firm attorneys who are not billing for legal assistants time. In marketing for lawyers it is a good strategy to bill for legal assistants given the way managers and entrepreneurs make money is by leveraging themselves on the work of others. Additionally, it is in the best interest of the client to have the least expensive yet appropriately competent staff to do the work if possible.
4. Begin to hold your team accountable for billable hours – start small with requiring 20 hours per week of billable time and then move it up to 30 hours per week over time. Do figure out a bonus plan for them as well to give them an incentive to hit the mark. Failure to hold staff accountable is often caused in law practice management by the desire to be liked. Managers are not always liked although they don’t have to be feared either.
5. Begin to have all timekeepers doing only timekeeping work and hire a secretary/receptionist to allow them to focus on billable time. In marketing for lawyers your timekeeping staff needs to be focusing on the timekeeping not non-billable work that can be done by less costly but competent staff.
6. Hire some team/more team – some solos don’t have any staff and many solo/small firms do not have enough/the right staff.
7. Identify your top two or three revenue producing practice areas and limit your practice to those practice areas. Do only law marketing into your two or three selected practice areas.
8. Refer out (if ethically appropriate) or at least stop taking C & D clients and get A & B client files moving faster with more referrals coming in due to the happy A & B clients telling others about you. This is one of the best law marketing strategies since it gives velocity to your word of mouth with good clients who are loyal to you not loyal to your price.
9. Begin relationship law marketing to existing A&B referral sources that will result in more business fast as well as asking them to introduce you to their A&B colleagues that will result in more A&B referral sources.
10. Getting a handle on time management will enable the attorney and the team to get more billable hours in the same work hours and/or more velocity on contingency cases thus more revenue. This also means less marketing for lawyers time needed or more time for law marketing if needed.
11. Begin to ask clients for referrals (multiple times, multiple ways and in systematic ways) and ask clients to introduce you to other influencers they know. This is a stellar marketing for lawyers strategy.
12. Create a website that works on the CTPM model. Don’t know what the CTPM model is? See my website under the Internet marketing tab for openers.
13. Begin using law marketing direct mail strategies – here I am talking about regular mailings to your database at the very least and consider other direct mail strategies particularly to potential referral sources.
14. Begin using marketing for lawyers radio advertising – this can work well for some in small markets or if you can target your client market accurately it works well in a larger market.
15. Begin using law marketing TV advertising – only if you are in a smaller market or can target well on a cable channel is my best advice and never do TV advertising before you have done all of the other things above since you may have no need if you did all the other things above.
Well, there you go. Law marketing is not that complex to understand. It is a more difficult to implement of course thus the value of coaching. I have written two free e-courses designed for law marketing. One is on time management/productivity that addresses the points above in more depth so don’t think it is not about law marketing. The other e-course is on client development that addresses in depth more about law marketing. Pick them up now on my website at the resources tab. After all they are free and you can use the money I would imagine.

Law of Attraction: The Science of Creating Wealth
Author: Nicole Matoushek MPH, PT
So this title caught your attention? That means you want to learn more about creating wealth. The good news is, is creating wealth is something anyone and everyone can do. Read this article; know that there is a science, a system to getting rich and creating wealth. By applying the law of attraction and other universal laws, you will get rich. Learn the science of getting rich, study it, practice it and then start to attract the riches that you so strongly desire. Hold on to your vision, your dreams and hold steadfast to your goals, and remember, often times, it is not the destination that makes us happy, it is the journey!
Law of Attraction
Understanding the Law of Attraction is most critical to your success and in obtaining prosperity and wealth. Simply put the Law of Attraction states that “I attract into my life whatever I give my energy, focus and attention to, whether unwanted or wanted or conscious or unconscious.” This means that you can have anything you choose, no matter how big it is. This means if we learn how to apply the law of attraction, we can learn how to achieve success, prosperity and wealth. We can receive greater levels of income, than we ever dreamed.
The Law of Attraction works because we all have one infinite Power; a God, Higher Power or Universe, and that we all guide ourselves by laws; natural laws of the universe, such as the law of gravity, cause and effect, polarity, action and reaction, and the law of attraction. The law of attraction can best be described as a magnetic force, that like thoughts attract like experiences. That these laws of nature are so precise, that when man thinks about things, he or she can accomplish miracles. The law of attraction says that everything in your life is attracted to you by your thoughts. The Universe takes these thoughts as instructions, and manifests what you think about and focus on, into your life’s experience. What kind of instructions have you given the universe so far?
Think about this for a moment, if you think and focus about how poor and financially strained you are, you will become poorer and more in debt. The more you think and focus on your current situation, wanted or unwanted, the more tolerable or intolerable your situation will become. If you worry and are angry about your lack of money, wealth or prosperity, you are practically guaranteeing yourself an experience of lack of wealth, money and prosperity. If you are constantly jealous and bitter towards others, as they have wealth and you do not, you are going to attract more jealousy and bitterness into your experience. What you resist persists and what you fear perseveres.
Our Thoughts have Frequencies
Our thoughts have frequencies, so when you think about or imagine what you want, such as great wealth, success and prosperity, your thoughts go out to the universe or Higher Power and the universe or Higher Power brings it to you. So if you see yourself living the life of the rich, in a fabulous house, with an expensive car, glamorous clothing and fine arts, you will attract this into your experience. So whether you are thinking about your past experiences, your present situation or your future, and whether you are remembering, observing or imagining, the universe or Higher Power is listening and responding by bringing that thought and those things right back to you. I recommend you start to think rich!
Attracting Thoughts and Things by Using your Mind
Your mind is a sender and receiver of information far beyond the five senses. You can attract thoughts and things into your life, just by using your mind. Think about driving on some remote country road. You try scanning your radio to find a new radio station for some good traveling music. Until you tune into a station, you will not hear the music. But that does not mean that it is not already out there, nor that other people are not already listening to it. The same principle applies to whatever you are attracting into your life. What you are experiencing is dependent upon what frequencies your thoughts are emitting their information on. When you send it out thoughts or information, a message to the Universe or Higher Power, by the power and vibrations of your mind and of your thoughts, you will attract it back to you, into your experience. It is quite a complex theory the first time you hear and consider it. But as you think about it and look around into your world, you will see that indeed this is true. It is a universal law.
Chronic Ways of Thought
If one has a prolonged negative chronic way of thinking about their lack of wealth and prosperity, their debt, according to the law of attraction, these thoughts will manifest into existence. Their experience will be that of more debt and lack of money. If one is thinking of how great their financial success and wealth is, they will have more wealth. If one can accept and practice this concept, one can transform their life.
The key concept to take away is that we are all the architects of our life, good or bad. All of our problems are created by us and us alone, not by your parents, partner, boss, friends, accident, upbringing or family. All of our successes were created by us and us alone, not by luck or chance. We have created them, each and every one. This may be really difficult to accept if this is the first time you are hearing this concept. But once you do, your life can transform into a whole new world, with unlimited possibilities and success, good fortune and prosperity. So change those thoughts about lack of money into thoughts of an abundance of money. Learn the techniques of visualization, goal setting, using a systematic approach to creating wealth and you will have it, the law of attraction is as predictable as the sun setting and rising. Why You Must Obey Movie Copyright Laws In The Digital Age
Author: Richard Cunningham
Many people have pursued the hobby of downloading movies and songs on the Internet and sharing them with their friends and family online. However, this is direct violation of U.S. copyright laws. Not surprisingly, the biggest violators of the movie copyright laws are students. The movie industry is sending out copyright infringement claims to college universities around the country. One reason that college students may be the hardest hit is that they are not aware of how serious a crime copyright infringement is.
Many college students who have lawsuits brought against them are shocked, to say the least. They question why they were not warned about the perils of downloading movies and songs online and passing them along to friends. However, with the rise of claims, no one can claim ignorance for much longer. Word is being spread near and far that if you engage in illegal downloading and/or sharing, then you can be brought to court. College students are learning the hard way that it is against the law and in violation of copyright laws to share or download copyrighted material. Many colleges and universities now state in their handbooks that it is against the law to illegally download movies, music and other forms of media using school computers.
In addition to illegal downloading and sharing movies, the files take up space on the computer systems and use a considerable amount of bandwidth. While most universities and colleges will not look at the content an individual has -- they can isolate and identify the individuals who are hogging up bandwidth by using illegal file sharing.
The movie and music industries have stepped in and are demanding restitution for illegally downloaded movies, music and other forms of copyrighted media. They have detection agencies that have the technology to identify and trace copyright infringements straight to their source. Once the computer is located they can notify the university or the college that they are in violation. The university will be told that they have a copyright infringement claim against them. Based on the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, once the computer is isolated, then Internet access is terminated to that computer and court proceedings can begin.
Does this sound far fetched? Well, it is not. You should know that a few years ago Recording Industry Association of America sued four students. These students attended Princeton, Michigan Technical University and Rensselear Polytechnic Institute. One student had an estimated liability of $150 billion. When you consider that you can be charged $750 per song that you illegally download, the total can add up fast! The good thing is the lawsuits against the college students were settled for amounts less than $20,000. That is not pocket change for college students -- or anyone for that matter!
Movies and music are meant to be enjoyed. However, illegally downloading movies and music is not much different than walking into a video store and sticking DVDs and CDs in your pocket. Be careful. You do not want to be caught violating any movie copyright laws.
